This dataset presents the historical and current distribution of angling charter vessels around the coast of the Republic of Ireland. It shows the number of active charter skippers and their locations from 1978-2006, and recent data starting from 2023. The dataset was collated from historical charter angling data and a 2023 Inland Fisheries Ireland listing of active angling charter skippers (Current link - https://fishinginireland.info/angling-service-providers/charterboats/).
